me: I had a pitcher of margaritas last night. I swear I'm not an alcoholic.

me: feiran just said she wouldn't play Scene It with me unless I had a handicap.
moonlightalice: omg
me: So instead of having only half the pitcher, I had all of it.
moonlightalice: You still beat the pants off her, yes?
me: Well, not pants-off beating. Especially not the last round where I had a 3 second lag handicap, too.
me: I beat her by about twice as many points. Usually, I can do 3x as many.
moonlightalice: Wow.
me: Yep. No one wants to play with me. I'll drink until they do!
moonlightalice: I've beaten you :D
me: It's true. But this version on the XBOX makes me more competitive. There's no chance.
moonlightalice: I think cumulatively I've seen more movies than you have.
me: But that doesn't seem to matter--whether I've seen movies or not. I know them. It's like osmosis.

Hm. I think this calls for a drunk-equalizing pair of contests. You drunk vs. me in Scene It, followed by me drunk vs. you in Rock Band. And make sure to download the new Jimmy Buffett pack to go with the drinking :)

I've never played Scene It but I'd definitely give it a whirl. I, too, know way too many movies--though many of them are B-movies from the late 80s and early 90s.

You never know what you'll get with Scene It. They've got a pretty good range of films in there. Some time, I hope to do like a massive Scene It tournament. In which I am not allowed to play, obviously.

feiran said they couldn't have been strong enough. I guessed at the amounts because I decided halfway through pouring that I should just use up the mix. Very probably, they were pretty weak, maybe half strength Dallas BBQ without the extra shot. I was buzzed, but I didn't lose any time or coordination that I saw. I'm impressed with me that I could count to three for my three-second lag.

So I'm really a light weight, I just pretend otherwise.
