There are times when I get ridiculously simple joy out of my work. For instance, the smell of transfer buffer after it's been subjected to a current of 400mA for hours...it's intoxicating.

Then I go into the cold room and see what look to be brains in a tube. Scratch that, they're mouse fetuses in a tube! SICK!

Hey, I spent my lunch hour waiting for a conference that never occurred. I'd have loved to be delivering DVDs. She'll get 'em tomorrow. :-)
